I do love the vintage sunburst designs, but they are expensive! These are 3 recycled treasures! I guess I still haven't gotten the hang of blogging because I keep forgetting to do before pictures. I just get to into my projects so much (and I'm getting old)!

I bought this old clock (it was black). Don't you just love all the great colors in spray paints?!
This was also an old black clock. The clock couldn't be fixed. So I added a mirror in the center and small mirrors at all the points.

This one I made with wooden skewers that I cut into three different sizes. I then hot glued them and spray painted them after they were glued ( just covered the clock face). I paid $1 for the clock at goodwill.

Its winter and cold and I've been trying to keep myself busy. So, I have quite a few projects I've been working on. I will try to show you some of them. Please be patient, I am new to blogging!
You might recognize this doll bed from my previous post.  I guess now I have to make the cat (Ace) a new bed!

I found this old wooden stepladder and a concrete mold cardboard tube.

I bought some sisal rope and wrapped it and hot glued it to the ladder. I then covered the tube in a bath mat I bought.   I did also wrap the mat around one of the legs of the ladder.

I bought a small bed (the navy blue)  from Walmart, for about $12 and attached it to the top of the tube.

I think he likes it!!!

Button art I made with my beautiful granddaughter, Jazzy...

Recycled Dresser Drawer

Well, I had some old dresser drawers and I was looking for a project. I bought my granddaughter an American Girl Doll and was looking at the beds. So expensive! I decided to make one myself. I spent $8 on fabric and $12 for legs and wooden decals.

An old dresser drawer
Drawer and plywood for headboard

I painted the drawer

I padded the plywood and stapled fabric

Added screw on legs I bought at Home Depot and added bedding made by my 17 yr old daughter
